My dad believes that his seat at Laker games is complimentary, since he provides such good publicity and marketing for both the Lakers organization and Staples Center.
Personally, I think Nicholson wouldn't mind paying for his fabulous seat at Laker games. He can probably afford to reserve the entire court side seats at Staples. In fact, he probably insists on paying. He's Jack Nicholson. He doesn't need anyone's charity.

Absolutely. Only politicians seem to get freebies, and they aren't ever from the ownership but from interest groups. Jack Nicholson is just a great fan. The team has become his team, and like any fanatic, would go to certain lengths to show their support.

I think he's freakin loaded!
I also think that there may be two answers here.
1) He's paying because he can afford to and because he has enough pride to do so.
2) The owners probably have cut him slack from time to time.
I wish I were JACK...just for a day.
Maybe he should do a reality show like Trump...

he pays dude, a basketball team doesnt need publicity. sorry to ur dad but he doesnt know what hes talking about. especially the lakers. i mean they are the most known team out there.
p.s. hes loaded, why would 500 dollars matter?
