It really depends what the source of the hemorrhoids are. If it's constipation, increasing your fiber and water intake will help in the long run. For faster relief there are several over the counter treatments to help with itch (i.e. preparation H) However, hemorrhoids and blood in the stool could be signs of a more serious intestinal problem. Be careful.

Not knowing what any of the other issues are, it will be hard for anyone to give you great advice. The problems may be: you are not drinking enough water, you may be eating low fiber foods, too much sitting at a desk, car, computer etc., child birth.... we dont know so I will cover all of the bases... first, drink at least 8 glasses of either distilled water or mineral water a day, every day, more in winter, begin introducing vegetables, legumes, fruits to your diet. take a natural supplement called Cascara Sagrada (it is the best softener/anti constipation) and Senna daily to keep things moving, soft and more comfortable to pass. Then use preperation H (to shrink the swelling if any) and use baby wipes instead of toilet paper. Dont ever push or force when using the bathroom, and while healing just let things sort of fall out, if you will. Try to not sit for long periods of time, stand or lay down as much as you can. take warm baths and if they are internal, use supositories, if external, use the cream prep H, if you have both, use both. If, after three weeks you are still having problems. you may have to take prune juice and have the runs a bit... but you must keep off the pressure and allow the inflamed tissues to heal, you are young enough that they should heal easily. Also, try drinking Aloe Vera juice (only get it at the health food store, do not make it yourself!) and mix it in with your apple juice, Orange juice is too acidic to be drinking now. Try this, it should work.. be very gentle with that part of your body because you do not want to end up with a colon bag.... take care and best of luck.. If nothing works you will have to see a Dr. and will probably have to have surgery to remove/burn (cauterize) them... so give it your best

Diet really helps hemorroids. Eat more of an alkaline diet. The acid ph level in your body is too high. Stay aways from breads and pasta's. Do a colon cleanse, and in the mean time have warm baths with Epsom salts added to the water. When you wipe after bowel movement, use baby wet wipes so it wont tear. If you are having hard bowel movements, take phsyllium or a herbal laxative tea before going to bed at night.
I struggled with hemorroids for 2 years before going to a naturepath doctor who helped me with this. And no I didn't have to pull my pants down ;> Is you didn't strain the vein out, it is caused by either sitting to long, or a ph level in your body.

best advice is one deal with the pain. You dont half to see a doctor. But it will hurt ...
You can do things to ease your pain such as ...
1) buy some preperation H there are several different things , gel / pads / sopositories I recomend the gel ... the pads dont really work the regular cream is a mess and the other well its not ideal ...
2) take hot baths as hot as you can stand it sit in them as long as it is hot it will bring the hemoroid to a "head" if you will and eventually bust and go away on its own ...
3) use a hot rag again as hot as you can stand it to press down there again will help it bust ...
good luck hope this helps

Baby...you need to go to the doctor.
Preparation H treats only some of the pain/discomfort associated with hemorrhoids.
I've had a little work done...uhhhhh...back there!
What I'm saying is; you will live.
It's better to hurt a little now than a whole lot more later on!

Preparation H, cold packs to shrink the swelling and TUCKS wipes (available at pharmacies). If they bleed, you will need to go see a doctor. Sitz baths are good too, sit in warm bath water with salt added.
