I will get $60 in trade in Credit for my old silver Nintendo DS system. Will I get more for it on ebay (but it is a hassle to sell!). It's left shoulder button does not work well (u have to press hard) and I put a sticker on it to cover the scratches.

Wow.. This is a hard decision.

There is no doubt that you can possibly sell it for a higher price on Ebay, but there could be some problems involved..

I'm pretty sure Gamestop will buy it from you without really checking to see if it works. But if you sell it on Ebay and if the people find out the left shoulder button not working well, they might give you negative feedback and return it to you.. Its going to be a real hassle.. But if you sell it on Ebay, just make sure to list all the problems though so people will know ahead of time.

I'd say sell it to Gamestop or Gamecrazy if any of the buttons aren't working.. Because people on ebay are really careful when it comes to conditions of items and will nag you about it..

If Gamestop will give you $60 for it - even credit - go for it! You have to disclose the defects on Ebay and I don't think you'll get a lot for it, plus the hassle. I bought my two kids their DSs on Ebay and I only bid on excellent condition systems. Paid a little less than $100 for each and also got games or a case with them. You probably won't get $60 net on Ebay for a less-than-perfect system.

I would try eBay. eBay is a wonderful solution for sellers, I have extremely bad experiences w/ Gamestop, they probably won't give you the full price they're saying. With eBay you can keep the money in a simple Paypal account and look for more things or quickly get a check in the mail, it's that simple. eBay has a big market for Nintendo DS's I bought one at Target for 145.00 and sold it for 210 at Christmas time.

Good Luck I thoughtfully recommend eBay!

I don't think you will get as much on ebay with a system that is not in perfect working order. That and now everything in the stores is for the DS Lite so more people are wanting the Lite Version.

NO WAY! DO NOT SELL IT TO GAMESTOP! gamestop hustles u. sell the ds on ebay and start at a low price and watch the bids fly on the last 6 hours of the auction.

youll get way more on ebay i'm sure. then get a psp. i sold my ds lite ofter 1 month, when i had like 4 great games for it, because its such a low quality gameplay. now i have a psp with only 1 free game demo, and i've had it for 1 month, and i'll never sell it. i'm saving now to buy a reall game, medal of honor heroes

I'd say sell it to Gamestop. People are crazy on ebay - if you don't describe your item perfectly they complain. Plus you have to ship it, etc.
But then again, it's up to you.
