This happen 4 mo. ago. We all had bruises and some swelling. My child had to be on crutches for 3 weeks but we are all fine now. Our lawyer said $35,000 total for all three, that is if the other insurance agrees to it. This includes the ER, dr. visits & therapy sessions. The car was total which they already paid us for the car. This is my first time to sue so I'm not sure if this amount is ok. to accept. Or should I go with another lawyer? Thanks everyone for your help.

Is that $35 grand each or to be split among them?
But, even $35 grand each would be way too low of a settlement.

EDIT:
Ok...so it's $35,000 total...
how about your lawyer's fee?...typically they take about 1/3.
There's a lot at stake here, it wouldn't hurt to confer with another lawyer just for a "second opinion"...
could be the difference in you getting many thousands more...seems like a lot of pain and suffering to me.
Good luck!

It all depends on how far you want to take it. If you don't have any injuries that will not come back to haunt you later in life ( back, neck, etc. ) and you are happy with it then take it. Also if you are unhappy with it then go and talk with an attorney that deals with auto accidents with injuries most of them offer free first visit and they don't get paid unless you get paid so if they don't feel that you could get more then most of them will not take the case. By the way if the insurance company is trying to settle go talk to an attorney

depends on whether or not you will have any problems from the injuries in the future your neck is important if you injured it badly i wouldnt sighn off you could end up with arthritis in the future in your neck . see a specialist spend the extra money and get a good exam first

it would all depend on how bad everyone was hurt or not,and what all happened ,it may not be enough if someone is still having problems from the accident,i wouldn't be too quick to settle on it until i knew everyone was going to be alright ,good luck i hope this help,s.
