How can I prove that he's not the best?

A lot. He lost the latest world cup. Real Madrid didn't win a trophy for 3 seasons in which he was a regular player. There are many matches in which Zidane was part of yet, the team lost. Yet still, it would be very, very hard to disprove his status as the best footballer of his generation.

well for people like me who followed zidane's career from the begginning, its gonna be difficult to convince us he's not the best of the last 10 yrs.
i suppose his last match was the one he left a bad image. but he was also sent off for a headbutt against Hamburg in 2000 in the UCL.

Why do you feel that you need to prove that he was not the best ?
He is one of the best in his era - he not just played well, he played well for a long period of time and had some wonderful success with Juve, Madrid and France.

you can prove that he's not the best, cuz he IS THE BEST. he led his team to 2 world cup finals. no one from italy say they did that can they.
