I was just listening to Fergie's "Glamorous" and in the hook where they tell broke people to go home, they used a pause so no one would hear the profanity. I just wanted to know what others thought about that; is a pause or another word better?♫♪♫♪

I would rather hear the actually profanity, but a word is a better substitute. I hate it when there is an awkward pause, but a a random word instead of a profanity can be just as bad.

sub word.if you put a pause in it it breaks up the song.especially a song with a lot of them in it.it mite sound like (this is an example..) "Yah im da *pause*. you can *pause* touch dis *pause"" i dont noe if this was a good exmaple or not but...i listened to the same song too and i have the dirty version of it on my ipod.it sounds better with profanity but if they had to vut it out..use the sub word.

a pause a sub word takes more out of a song then just a small pause songwriters use the words they use for a reson it convays a mood in the song as much as the actual music in the song

a substitute word is better because pauses just take away from the song.

I think another word works best. A pause makes the song really dumb I think.

I prefer when they just use a pause. Sub. words just annoy me, but thats just my opinion.

Wow, the preacher replaced into relatively taken aback that the little boy finally have been given the lesson - huh? (i understand, i understand, it replaced into simply by fact the wheels jumped on themselves, I basically could no longer stand up to the dumb blonde approach.)

neither. just play the song the way it was intended to be. i hate the fact that people are so offended by certain words. who decides what words are good or bad?
