Considering buying the Saturn V rocket from Danbury Mint. Wanted to make sure it was a high quality product.

Franklin mint is better

They both have pretty good standards. The bad thing is you will never get back on the secondary market what you paid for the item. Now I am looking at this as a coin collector. People who bought all the fancy coins from these two places lost their shirt when they tried to sell their coins. They paid way too much for them and the special silver coins are worth only silver bullion value. Remember the Civil War chest sets people are still trying to recoup their losses on them. No one wants one at the price they paid. If you are buying because you like it, or think it is a fun item and the loss of money does not matter, then do so. I sometimes pay to much for an item, but I want it and that is all that matters. A point of history: The Franklin mint has had U.S. mint sculptor/engravers work for it from time to time, after they retired, or where hired by the mint.

I have bought alot from the Danbury Mint and think they excellent
