Personally, yes, it helps me. I use a combonation of weird things really. Hydrogen peroxide, Apple Cider Vingear, Rubbing alcohol, and, yeah, toothpaste. Use the first three together. Mix them up in a little cup and use a cotton swab. It would take too long to do each one individually because it works best if you let each layer dry. Anyway, smear all that on your face and then after it's dried, but the toothpaste on your spots. I just know that usually my zip has either completely gone away or (it's gonna sound gross) it's all come to the top and once I wash my face it's gone. Another thing that helps is Nature's Sunshine Acne. It's an all natural liquid thing that my mom helped me find. We went to this Minnonite doctor around here (I live in the sticks of Kentucky) and he turned us onto the Nature's Sunshine stuff. I went a couple of months without using NSA and believe me, I won't be doing that again!

Don't do it, depending on the kind it can really have a bad reaction to your face and make it really red. If you want your zits to go away use acne medicated washes twice a day and use night time spot treatments or try going to the doctor and getting differen.

For me it works. The toothpaste dries the skin on and around the zit and right afterward you should be able to pop it. Any type of toothpaste should work, as long as you leave it on for about three minutes. It will burn/sting for a while, but it's not that bad.

Toothpaste does work to dry out a zit, it should be a regular paste type not a get. Apply a thin layer before bed, it worked for me when I had a pimple once.

That's a myth, it doesnt work. Go to your local drug store and get a prodoct with benzoyl peroxide in it. That does the trick. When you first get a blemish, you can put eye drop on the end of a q-tip and put it in the freezer for 30 mins. Then you place it on the blemish and it gets rid of the redness. Also if you crush up an asprin and mix a drop or two of water with it to form a paste and put it on, that works great too.

it probably will make it go away.. it worked for me, and trust me.. i had bad acne.. and now my skin is all clear =] thank god!!!.. before you go to bed, just put a dot of it on the pimple.. don't rub it in though. you have to use the PASTE.. NOTTT gel. the gel doesn't do anything, and it'll just dry out your skin. after a few times, it started to dry out the spots where i was putting it, so give your skin a break for a night or two if you start to see it getting flaky or dry.

best of lucK!! i know how hard acne can be.

Myth, my sister tried Toothpaste and dog salive (I know, I know). Go to a dermatologist and request a topical - specifically, Erythromyacin. First sign of a zit, out it on for two days, and it is gone. Amazing stuff, but it can be harsh . . .

first you have to see is your skin dry of oily if it is dry DO NOT PUT toothpaste because that will dry and peel your face but if it oily go ahead and rub the toothpaste that you would use for your teeth a thin layer around your "enormous zit"

Toothpaste is not going to do a thing, read the ingredients on the tube....there are none that would be beneficial to the skin. Go to the drug store and if you need help ask the pharmacist. That's why they are there, to help you with your questions.
