Go to their web-site. There should be a section for issues they may have voted for or against. If you can't locate their web-site, type in the name and your state name. If still no luck call the office of the congressman and ask the question and then to the web-site for your congressman. It is important to keep your congressman, senators and representatives, and the white house in your address book. I have found by having this information of web-sites, then you can email those accordingly. On issues that are about to be voted on, I voice my opinion as to whether I agree or don't agree.
