I am assuming you have some drawing skills, Otherwise, I don't know that this will help. All a caricature is, is a portrait with the unique or defining qualities of the person exaggerated. Study the person to see what it is about them that is unique and exaggerate it. If you are doing yourself, you might want to take some photos to really be able to study yourself. Try to be objective. We think we know our own faces but we really only ever see them in photos or in a reflection. Good luck.
