make some green tea and add honey and lemon (don't make it to sweet because you want the lemon) add some cayenne pepper

also try gargling with warm salt water..

I've heard of singers drinking honey to soothe the vocal passages (plus pure honey has some antiseptic properties) as well as to coat the cords

Drink a lot of herbal teas. It really helps. Try it, and drink them with some honey, but don't overload them. Good Luck! Hope it helps.

i dont know about indian trick but...dont drink any milk...its not good for your voice...and try not to talk much or use your voice let it rest and warm up before you go on stage
