When I was married, my wife received some immodest clothing, explicit lyrics CD's, and a couple of rated R movies from some of her friends and I had her return them. But don't worry, I let her friends know then and there that she couldn't keep those so they wouldn't get upset with her if they never saw her use those things.

No wonder you're divorced.
I don't think that was your decision. As an adult, she can own anything she wants, unless it's illegal (like maybe an assult rifle or something like that), no matter how inappropriate YOU or anybody thinks it is. Adults can watch any movie no matter the rating. And I doubt anyone needs your permission.
