For the women, in the gallows, ¿do you choose a black hood or not?

To the women, if you would be hanged, do you choose use a leather hood in your head or not? and which clothes do you'd wear in the gallows?

Leather hood? Naw, they used a black cloth hood, or a plain sack. The leather wouldn't allow for a proper neck break and would possibly hinder strangulation.
The hood's for the audience anyway - the face does interesting and grotesque things during strangulation - like the tongue protruding and turning black.

So, hood it would be, and not my best clothes for sure- my body is going to let loose of everything once I'm dead - why ruin expensive stuff?
