The young woman in this article is a friend of ours who was bi-polar and delustional. She told all of us she was estranged from her entire family and that no one loved her. We were all shocked and depressed to hear this on the news - and there was no obituary. We have no information what *really* happened (suicide - or was she just hearing voices) we can't contact her family because we don't know anything about them - she told us "I do NOT have ANY contact with ANY of them". We want to bring flowers to her grave if there is one and say a few words. We need help getting her death certificate which would have that information - but we legally, we are not considered "blood family". We just want to know what happened to her in those last few moments. Did she suffer? Was it suicide? Someone, PLEASE if you have access to this info, Please help us. Thank you

Several of us have called the police station, various funeral homes the area, Jamacia hospital - but again, we aren't her "Blood Family" so they won't tell us anything. We are all so heartbroken about this we need to have this information for closure. We also have questions like: "Was there something we could have done, and she'd still be alive?" It's been 2 months and we can't go on. None of us even got any phone calls and we can't bear the thought she could be in a "Potter's Field" somewhere. When she was depressed she believed no one loved her - and WE DID. This is killing us. Please someone out there - help us. We can't seem to cope with all these unanswered questions. Thank you in advance.

ISTHIS PAR.... Thank you for your response. Yes, that's the first thing we tried but they asked for proof of our relationship. When we explained, they said they could not help. But I've heard some people in certain positions of authority have access to these records. I'm starting to get upset and cry now, so I don't think I'll be able to write anymore. Thanks again for your response and your sympathy.

We've already been to city hall - they said unless we were blood relatives they would not provide us with a copy of the death certificate. The reporters who wrote the article never returned our phone calls. We even checked "findagrave.com" but a family member would have to enter that information - and we believe her family isn't even aware. Does anyone here have access to this information? We've tried everything with no luck.
