the "PM" is benadryl; just generic.
The sleeping ingredient in Tylenol PM is dihpenhydramine hydrochloride.
This is generic Benadryl.
If you're looking to go to sleep, go buy the generic Benadryl & take 2.

Tylenol PM is just benadryl with tylenol. Take the plain benadryl unless you have a headache or other pain.
Nyquil shouldn't be used to help you sleep. There are medications in there that can cause you problems if you take them in large doses.

Tylenol PM and Nyquil were equally good on me. Benadryl kept me up and made me hyper.
They have changed the formulas in almost all cold/fever remedies, so I don't know how well any of them would work for me now.

It seems like you need to improve your sleeping pattern. Benadryl is pretty inocent as been said before some other tips are: Are you drinking coffee or sodas? Cut it out. Drink plenty of water. If you are above 35 you might be low in progesterone see source. Do you watch TV at night? Cut it out...to much negativity and action. Raises your adrenaline levels...Do EFT see source.
Is something bothering you...Write and see if your conscience is of? Correct it... If you can not seep do something fun and the next night you will be so tired that you will sleep better. See if you have a negative attitude about “I can not sleep”…It is called self full- filling prophecies....Exercise...take a walk enjoy your life. Visualize yourself sleeping and do deep slow breath and count to 20. You can do it. Good luck.

It really works..I work 3rd shift and have a hard time getting to sleep, gave tylenol PM a try and it worked.
