Idk what happend. I have checked and made sure that all the sound on the computer is on i have restarted it and everything, and it still won't work. no sound on any website will work. any help?

the same thing happened on my computer in turned out to be the sound card. if your computer isnt on a surge protector this is very likely

Are your speakers plugged in?
if they are...
on the toolbar where the start button is scroll over you should have a picture of a little gray speaker (if you don't see it hit the little arrow over, or go to start, control panel, sound options.), double click it, a box should pop up with all the speaker controls. Check them out to see if mute all is check, if it is uncheck it. I hope I can help

You could possibly have a bad or faulty sound card since everything else is working. I had a pc to do that before. Good luck.

check volume, speakers connected, not muted, some applications can have the sound disabled, can't tell what's wrong from here, sorry

you can try the computer section of yahoo answers or make sure the volume is turned on

have you d/l any new programs.... if you're using xp try system restore... if you're using vista you may need to up grade to a new sound card....
