Hip-hop isn't but rap practically is. For instance the other day someone found a pink shuffle and said
"Hey just because I'm a boy doesn't mean I can't own a pink shuffle. Besides there's actually good music on here. Alot of rap." then i told him
"I thought you said there was good music." catch my drift?

yes, rap has been dead in my opinion. It got away from being "street" and now it's over-produced and way too commercial. Look at a NWA video or a ghetto boyz video from back in the glory days, and look at a rap video now and you'll see my point.

We can only hope. Disco was bad enough but rap has been around Way too long. Hope they come up with something really new.

I dont think it is going out... i just dont think we have a lot of talented people out now. to me.. the best rappers right now are Lil Wayne, Ludacris, T.i. n even thought hes dead Tupac i also think Eminem is credible too.. he's very versatile, one minute he's serious.. the next he's all crazy. As for these other people... they are not all that.

I hope so...Old school rap, such as LL Cool J and Run DMC was good...but the newer crap is just thug s h i t...It sucks...
