can someone kindly give me the code to make win98/2000 comp shutdown at these intervals 9:45 am, 11:30 am,1:40 pm,2:20 pm..
i want to use some programs or batch files, not scheduled tasks or any other software

You can do that on Vista and someone pulled it from the system and made it downloadable to use on windows xp, check download.com for system shut off timer

You can make a simple program in VB. please refer to MSDN. I think the procedure call is "Shell()".
