god is definitely an important thing that should come to one's mind when they think of love. god loves all. it is important that we keep him in our hearts and souls. i think that you kind of answered your own question when you said one of the things you think about love is god. god personifies this word in a way no one else can. when love comes to family, love is being there through the good times as well as the bad, sacrificing things for the benefit of one another as well as having a love that is unconditional. the same things apply when it comes to loving ones self. you have to love yourself as well as other people. you have to love the things you do, the difference you make and the reason why you were put on this earth. as the late minnie pearl once said "love in your heart wasn't put there to stay, love isn't love until you give it away." i truly believe in that statement. these things are what love is all about. hope this helps. good luck.
