I just read like ten posts where it was nothing but racist questions.
I was really happy a while ago but now I'm just sad.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. It is sad but the truth is that it exists.
Is it a choice? or are they born that way? For a long time we thought that mental health was a choice but it is not. The mind works well when all the various chemicals are all balanced and flowing. And when they are not then the person has wrong perceptions and true reality becomes skewed.
You might not agree but have you noticed that there are some days that no matter what anyone says to you, you're happy as can be. While other times no matter how nice people are to you, you just want to smack them all. Chemicals, chemical imbalances in the brain.
Sometimes for no reason anything can make you cry or angry but for some people they are born haters, what can we do?

I am shocked and appalled by the racist and homophobic questions asked on yahoo. In my circle of friends and acquaintances..within the university and graduate program I attend, race and sexual orientation is not an issue--there are many interracial couples...perhaps the people who write bigoted questions on yahoo q&a do so because they know that if they were open about their opinions at their work or with their friends people would ostracize them? Therefore, many racist and homophobic people feel comfortable expressing their views with anonymity on yahoo?

Because they are immature: they falsely think that they are superior to other people, while God created all himan beings with the same dust.
However, they will receive good lessons in this age of human maturity right from their children and grandchildren who no longer tolerate racism.

Because they're morons. They think because they are a certain way they are better, because they are ignorat ot the fact that God made us in is image and likeness and we are all the same in his eyes.

Fear. People are racist out of fear. I report tons of people here and think that they should be barred. Any type of bigotry, gender, sexual orientation, agism, whatever.
