That depends on what kind if break you have.....also depends on if there is tendon damage, too.
if it is a hairline fracture then i would say that it should only be about 6 weeks.
if it is a compound fracture ( broken in half or a shatter ) then typically it will take you 2 to 3 months to heal......then also if there is tendon damage it could even be longer than that.!!!!
What did your Doctor say about it.??? Best thing to do is ask the doctor......oh, and after the cast is removed you will need to go to physical therapy

it takes 6 weeks for bone to heal...and less time to restore movment...but don't move it too often before 6 weeks or the union will be incomplete...
