never found one yet but have sent several...got a reply once from someone in Texas..I sent it down the Mississippi river from St. Louis,Mo....I just put my name & addy on it & asked them to reply if found..it was cool =)

Many years ago when I was in Middle school, (grade 7&8) we attached a card to a helium balloon listing our school and the address, as is done every year. Ten years later I found a partially inflated balloon in a farm field approximately 100 miles downwind near my employer. The balloon was from my old school! I wrote back to them with the story, but never heard from them acknowledging the note or a thank you. Perhaps I was expecting too much.

I found a message on the bottom of a bottle. It said "recyclable".
I felt that if the bottle was recyclable, then perhaps I was too, and I turned my entire life around. Thank you Anheuser-Busch!

I haven't found any messages, but I've seen plenty of bottles with cigarettes in them...is that a message?

No...but I tied a message to a balloon and let it go in the sky. It went so high I could not see it anymore, not sure where it ended up. The message was.....

floating by my yellow submarine, I found a bottle....
it said "mysterious man, wanna-be swim instructor, seeks a witty, sultry, and sensually dressed woodworker to share a bouncy castle with. likes g-strings."

No but i have always felt that if i was trapped on an island i would just send a message on a note saying "i love you." because if i'm on that island its for a reason. i dunno. i'm kinda weird like that.
