Don't get me wrong, I love intellect, but the first thing I see is physical appearance like every other dude. Are we dogs or what?

No, that doesn't make him shallow. What makes him shallow, is if he is ONLY attracted to physical attributes and nothing else matters to him.
I think the worst case is when men are really disrespectful about women regarding their appearance. It is one thing to appreciate a woman's physical demeanour, but to be downright offensive and vulgar is not acceptable. For example, referring to a woman basically as a piece of meat, whether he is complimenting her or insulting her, it's vile behaviour and that's what I think makes some men 'dogs'.
Everyone notices appearance, it's only human nature. You can't pretend that physical attributes don't matter, when you are initially attracted to someone. However, if a man starts valuing a woman ONLY for her physical appearance, and is disrespectful seeing her only for his own selfish sexual gratification, then he is indeed a a shallow pig, no doubt about it.
You don't need to worry, you wouldn't be asking this question if you were 'shallow'. You wouldn't even care, so you are alright in my book.

No, women see physical appearance as well. So as much as people make claims about men, it is natural for men and women to notice another person of the opposite sex's appearance first. If a dude won't go out with a girl because her **** aren't big enough, even though she has a great personality, then that is being shallow for not looking beying one's appearance or body. But, that's what motivates the opposite sex to approach each other, it brings us to the table. It is from there where conversation and personality can make or break the hook up from working or not. But, physical appearance is what usually, initially draws people to meet.

First of all, yes, all men are dogs. This is an instinct that has been instilled in us since time immemorial. Our basic instinct is survival. First survival of ourselves, then survival of our family line.
You are only shallow if you refuse to see past the physical for any reason, good or bad.

No you're human. Our first stimulus is usually visual. Physical attraction is usually a starting point. If you're shallow it's the start and finish. Why do you think women check out guys' butts? It's not because they think that's where their brains are!

Thats exactly what the feminists want you to think keep it up and one day in human society all males will end up like dogs.
The initial attraction is always physical unless you have a radar or a scanner , which is a pity because guys could do with a few when it comes to the modern female.

Most couples you ask will tell you they were first attracted to each other because of their appearance.

Well, what do you think women see when they first meet a man? A girl can't tell if he's brilliant or sensitive by looking at him, but she can see if he has a nice *** or not. You're only shallow if that is your only reason for dating the girl.

No, thats what everyone sees. A person should at least presentable and expressing a keen personality. And also, obviously this isnt something humans can control their minds think:
sexy chick = interesting = lets meet & mingle
smelly chick = gross = get away from me

it doesnt make you a dog, its human instinct, females do it to males all the time, its looks that first make you want to talk to a person but sometimes its worth it to go beyond the looks and find the person. as long as you dont judge how smart a person is by how they look is all that is important..
