Easy! Just open up the mechanism and bring as close to your upper lashes where they sprout out of the eyelid at the lash line and squeeze for say 20 - 30 seconds, depending on how stubborn your lashes will be to curl. Of course, it's better to do it on bare lashes, before mascara! It's not meant for the bottom lashes, so I wouldn't try that!

gently...very slowly...place open eyelash curler..at base of your lashes...make sure that you just press the eyelash curler closed..gently...hold for a few seconds..then open...
be careful when using anything by your eyes.....go slowly..and gently.
