That really depends on the species you have, some get about 6" others well over a foot.

Each koi can get over 2 ft. So it sounds like you are probably overcrowded already. I am not sure how big a crawdad can get.

As a side note, a fish does not stop growing no matter how big of a tank you keep it in. What happens is that it may stunt the growth and make the fish stay smaller, but the internal organs continue to grow. The fish will slowly die prematurely.

The biggest crawdad that I have seen was about 4 inches long (body length) and it was in a local creek near my house. I would think that they would max out at about that, they are not like lobsters that can get huge.
