Whether a sunny day in the woods, a bustling office, or a suburban livingroom the one constant is STUPID FAKE SMOKE! What is the deal? Do directors/production designers think it looks good!? Enhances the scene? Hides wrinkles on aging stars/starlets? I truly don't get it. And it seems like the lower the budget the thicker they mist, even in places where it's completely inappropriate like inside bulidings/homes or the middle of the day. Often you can just about see the guy behind the bush puffing it out. I don't get it...
