If excretions indicate very high levels of 2-Methylhippurate—aside from discontinuing use of xylene containing products—what else can help remove this compound from the body's system?

Xylene is a Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) with toxic emissions...found in many common household items. In my case I was exposed via, lacquers, paint, paint thinners and other xylene containing solvents. My test results indicate very high exposure levels, so I hoped for a remedy to facilitate the normal detoxification process.

You should try taking some liquid chlorophyll. Any health food store will stock it. About $20.00 for a 500ml bottle. Liquid chlorophyll is a blood purifier and toxin eliminator. It is know as the body deoderizer. Brilliant stuff. Comes in a yummy spearmint flavor and very palatable. You may have a few side effects such as gas and bloating but don't worry about it, this is just the detox process and will pass soon enough.

I heard wheat grass powder can detoxify. Actually at the GNC there is a special powder there just for detoxification. I dont really buy into it though.
I think if you eat and sleep regular and live healthy you will automatically detoxify.
By the way what is xylene anyway and what is it in?
