Baby Teething Crackers recipe
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk (try a little less first)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In food processor or in large bowl, stir together the flour, cornmeal, salt and sugar. Add the egg and mix well. Blend in enough of the milk to form a dough that will hold together in a cohesive ball.
On a floured surface or pastry cloth, roll into a rectangle about 3/8 inch thick. With a sharp knife, cut the dough into 1 1/2 x 3-inch rectangles. Place them on a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Prick each cracker 2 or 3 times with the tines of a fork. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until the crackers are thoroughly dry. Cool on a rack. These crackers should be hard. If necessary, put them back in the oven for a few minutes.
Yields 10 to 15.

You can give cookies to any baby that you would normal feed all of the ingredients to. So no solids before six months, and generally no wheat before 9 months.
Use rice or oat flour.
Also I wouldn't use sweeteners, only sugar. Artificial sweeteners are not safe for babies, and liquid sweeteners such as honey and corn syrup are not safe for babies under 1 year due to infant botulism.
You could, I suppose use stevia or anise. Anise is quite nice and good for the stomach as well. I would use fresh rather than try to find a powdered form.
Also no dairy before at least 9 months, possibly 12. And generally people do not give egg whites to babies under a year.
Other than that follow any recipe you want.

You have to be really careful what you give a teething baby if it breaks off and causes choking it is not good. They make a cookie for this and it is really hard and it doesn't break easioly and lasts for a while, you still have to keep an eye on the baby with this cookie that they have designed for this reason. So, I wouldn't be making my own. You can use a hard liquid filled teething toy, put in freezer or fridge if recommended to cool babies gums. Also you can give baby a wash cloth that has been bleached and dried and put in the freezer, they like chewing on clod things, of course keep an eye on the baby and take it away when it is not helping or if the baby is really taking parts off the washcloth. Use pain reliever to help with the pain too. good luck. Try looking uo homeopathic teething remedies on the web, it may help.

You advise like commonplace sugar cookies. i does no longer supply them in any respect to children considering they are nonetheless on solids and not in any respect even chewing yet. Wait to furnish them cookies till they have all their teeth in and they could earnings from the cookies. 5years previous will be the youngest age to newborn's that would initiate to delight in cookies.

If you'd like to take a short cut, there are special cookies made by Farley called "Rusks" which are not too sweet but tough enough for teething babies to chomp on.
