this is a tv show i watched when i was a kid. I dont remember much of it but it features puppet animals such as a cat, a dog, a bunch other animals and sometimes a couple real humans. It's really weird an funny and not quite kiddish as the sesame street. I really need to know the name of it!!

no its not Fraggle Rock. The show is from the
late 80s/early90s and sets in a neighborhood.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood had a puppet segment that had a few humans (in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe), and I know there was a cat puppet for sure, a tiger, a bunch of human-like puppets and others. Kukla, Fran & Ollie is another kids' show with puppets, but it's from way back in the 1940s and I don't think it's aired on television in decades. How long ago was it when you watched (ballpark)?

its not much to go I'm afraid. the first thing that came to mind was the sooty show. sooty was a yellow teddy, sweep was a black and white dog and Sue was a panda. it also had harry Corbett and his son Matthew who took over in the late eighties.
hope I've been of help.
