but they wont tell me over aol
and i cant be told in person cuz of a phobia i have
and when im told something negative about me
unless its my dad i most likely will punch someone
and they dont get it
and so my other friend says my life is a joke but it doesnt have to be...
but i cant listen in person
is it worth it to listen in person and then punch them
or if they dont tell me online should i ignore them 4ever
and become best friends with another friend?
or is there any other choices i have?

No one should be telling you that your life is a joke. That's definitely not a friend.
With this phobia, no, I don't think you should be told in person. I think that they need to tell you over the Internet.
Explain to them that you have to have the negativity told to you over AOL, or else, you will get aggressive. They may think it sounds funny or it's a joke, but be serious with them.
All in all, friends shouldn't judge you & that's exactly what they're doing. I think it's okay to be decent with these people, but I wouldn't be close with them.
They're sending too many mixed signals & making you think there's something wrong with you. Brush off their ignorance & tell them to tell you what they wanted to say.
I hope everything works out. Good luck!

I'm not trying to be rude but honey, YOU.... SOOOO have issues!! You hurt people if they are honest?! That means you want your "friends" to be liars or to lie to you?! You need to get help! Don't treat these people like this or get rid of them! Talk to a therapist or councilor.....(grow up?!!)........
