If the government shouldn't have any say in religion, then it really shouldn't be able to ban public religion.

Religion shouldn't be banned except when it's part of the government, being supported by the government in any way (paid for or endorsed), or in public government funded facilites where people are forced to go, such as schools. I don't want my tax dollars supporting any sort of religion or religious activity, and I don't want one religion or another forced onto me.
Other than that, I feel everyone should be tolerant of others beliefs, as long as those beliefs don't hurt others or infringe on rights. This means government not imposing restrictions on the practice of religion in one's own place.

Why stop with religious activities in public, why don't we stop putting crosses on tombstones. No public display of anything that has to do with Christmas, Easter and any other religious holidays. I am so tired of people whining about religion, but people are so easy to hide behind the first amendment when it comes to music, TV or movies.
No, do not ban religious activities.

It is a good idea that religion is made personal to every human being and that all public display of ones worship be banned. Similarly, we consider banning all public functions of political parties and electioneering. That will bring in a lot of improvement in our society and in governance.

A secular society should allow all religions to be practiced - Not curtail it! Banning religious activity is a form of taking away the freedom of expression and it amounts to curtailing our freedom also.

Thats impossile friend... religion is an individuals belief.. gov can't interfere in that.. and they should not do that so.. Instead they can think of ways of bringing people together beyond the religion..

Thankfully the U.S. Constitution prohibits such a ban.

at first look, this sounds like a good idea, since it will help in curbing many religious problems.
but realistically its may not possible to implement it. (e.g. processions in moharaam, ganesh utsav, santa claus in christmas etc.) who should be allowed and who not ?
