Can anyone tell me what was the sniper rifle they were using in the film when they shot the pool to see if the water is bulletproof?
I know the rifle is freakishly huge but I don't know the name.

Barrett .50 cal.. I've spent a lot of time working in conjuction with USMC sniper teams. It's an impressive weapon in anyones hands, but to see it in action by someone with a lot of trigger time on it, it's truly amazing.
Search Barrett online and you'll find all the specs. A local firing range was selling a Barrett .50 cal (a slightly diff. model than the one on mythbusters) for around $4500.
