I'm a sophomore with a 3.4 GPA.. Am I going to have to take math when I get to college? I live in Texas.. how much will I need? I plan to go into journalism...?

point blank, YES you will HAVE to take math classes. When you enter college you can take a placement test, if you score high, you can go into high math classes so you don't have to take a lot of them. However, depending on what degree you are going for, you will have to take certain level math classes in order to get the degree.

How much math do you know now, how are you doing in it and what are the math requirements of the College you plan to attend? Then ask yourself, "Who has the best School of Journalism?" THEN ask yourself "What KIND of journalism?" Print? Electronic? What school offers the best choices for you in that field that has the best curriculum with the least math requirements.

Probably mimimalist college math. It's usually required for a BA.

Probably. It really depends on the school you attend, but most have some kind of general education requirement that requires you to take courses in a wide range of subjects, and mathematics is usually one of them.
