If Grey's Anatomy was real... Would the hospital be shut down?

I personally think that if that hospital was real ti would have been shut down several times. They have staff doign it in back rooms, people gettign personally involved with patients, and people exploding. Of course, the show is absolutley addicting to me and I can't stop watching at least the end of it every Thursday, but I am Just wondering, Am I the only one that thinks this? (BTW, I dont think Meredith should die.)

I have worked in hospitals for many years and you would be AMAZED if you knew some of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes.....It is not as far fetched as one might think.

So what is your point?

Doctors never have sex with one another.

They are always professionals.

They never have sex with nurses or patients.

They are saints

And yet they have the highest rate of alcoholism mong professionals in the world.

They are near the tops in divorce rates too.

But let's assume that they do all their hanky panky at home.

Right.....

And as for the bomb, Code Black is a real term and I have been in a hospital when it was used once. They close of the stairwells and the rooms and try and isolate the disturbance to minimize the damage.

I've also been there when babies were stolen and crazies broke out of the sanitarium. You would be amazed what kind of things can happen in the course of a stay.

And ask your self, if Denny were your patient would you have fallen in love with him? I think you would.

being a nurse for over 24 years i can assure you if any doctor did to a patient what izzy did to denny last season,cutting the vad line,they all would have been suspended,reported to the medical and licensing division and i am 100 % sure at least izzy would have had her medical license suspended/revoked...and maybe even not allowed to practrice medicine again..that would be a gross malpractice situation

they do seem to get alot of the medical stuff right,like the interns doing the skut work..but again i have never seen any attending physician tell an intern/resident to get his coffee,pick up his dry cleaning and such

another thing i can't see happening is when they ate lunch in a patients room and chose that person because he was in a coma and couldn't talk

and most residents/interns i work with don't go hang at the local bar after work and on the show they all seem to get off work at the same time...and no one on the show has worked a night shift yet.

like i said most of the medical stuff they are pretty accurate about..it's the peripheral stuff i have issues with

The scenes in television are looks like hospitals, however the characters at the instant are not, docs do no longer sleep around, do no longer want thus far co-workers, have not got affair with interns, citizens.. yet another pretend concern is race, decrease than selection coverage, further and further blk get massive roles yet easily docs in u . s . a . of america seventy two% White, 20% Asian, 6% Black, 4% Latino

There is no grey's anatomy without Meredith, and I never thought about Seatle Grace as a real hospitol. But the likely hood of so many people finding love and doing it in the back is highly unlikely.

all i can say is..I WOULD LOVE TO WORK at this hospital!!! I love this show and it will suck bad if they kill meredith!!!! But i don't hink they will ?????but yes in all reality...this is what happens some what in some hospitals!! I live for thursday's nights!! grey's and general hospital!!

yea...good point.......i dont want her to die either...but u kno she is not going to because she is like the main character............did u kno that the patients problems that they have on there are exactly come from real stories.......like the woman that had 2 uterus......the bomb in the man........the lady with a smashed face...only difference is the the doctors and their drama...lol
