how do you link screennames in Aim on Mac?

Question

i used to have a PC and i had 2 screennames because i linked them..but now that i have Mac i cant find the thing for linking screennames on Aim taht i downloaded from Aim.com....do you guys kno how? or maybe do you kno where i could download a different Aim for Mac where you are able to link screennames?? thankss guys

Are you talking about iChat? Don't even bother with the Mac version of AIM. Using iChat is a lot better than AIM. It uses AIM. No advertising, better security, and complete interactivity with other Mac programs.

Inside iChat's preferences, you can add a bunch of different accounts. I'm not sure if you can run both accounts at once without having a bunch of separate windows open.

i dont imagine you are able to....ive tried to yet i cant determine it out. plus...it continually closes through itself and random situations....i'm getting so aggravated! i dont understand if anybody else has this issue with macs or if my pc is basically extraordinary like that, besides the undeniable fact that it occurs each and each and every of the time.

You mean you want to be able to use both screen names at the same time? You should be able to do this using iChat. I don't know if you knew this or not, but iChat supports AIM. You should be able to enter two AIM accounts in iChat. Also, you could use Adium X, which is what I use. It doesn't support video or audio, but it's a great IM application that supports many different IM protocols, such as Yahoo IM, AIM and MSN.
