When do you think company will STOP making GAMES in PS2?

because of the next generation console, i think companies will have their attention to them.

Games were produced for the PS1 for many years after the ps2 came out. It would be ignorant for game publishers to drop the ps2 market.

Companies will continue to make games for the PS2 for at least 2 years. Sony did say that consumers who buy a Playstation console is in it for the long run, about 10 years. This is the beginning of year 7 so it's not surprising that companies will continue to make games for the PS2 in year 8.

I have owned a PS2 for quite a few years,and to be totally honest with you,I am waiting until the cost of the PS3 comes WAY DOWN!! You can still find alot of games for the PS2,because alot of people are getting rid of them,in order to be able to afford games for the new PS3 that is out on the market! I will have to wait awhile in order to afford a PS3,but from what I have seen from the previews for the graphics for the PS3,the graphics for the PS3 are AMAZING!!! I have looked at the prices for the games for the PS3,and the games START AT $50.00 a piece if not more,YIKES!! My advice is to just give it time,and the price will eventually come down on the PS3 so you can get one if you want to! You could always check out E-Bay if there are any specific games that you are looking for the PS2,and you could always check out www.amazon.com too,for any games that you can't find on E-Bay! I hope that I have been helpful and good luck,and check those places out for PS2 games!! ;-)

Most of the companies have already, the last major release for the PS2 is God Of War 2, you might see some more budget titles coming soon but thats about it. Sorry.

Not soon. More PS2s are being sold than PS3s still because the PS3 isn't available and is grossly overpriced.
