they may be mad at you because you still live so close, yet so faraway. if you see them a lot and talk to them and are still nice to them then you should talk to them to find out what the problem is. if they don't want to talk, then see if you can talk to people that they know and trust such as other friends and family.

When you are no longer regularly in the mainstream with your friends their attention goes to other things or other people around them. That's part of life that you need to adjust to. If your family were to move say 200 miles away or farther then your parents would also be finding new friends and most of the old ones would just move on with their lives. You need to keep in contact with those that want you to and go on and get new friends just as they are doing. Good Luck,

Did u keep in touch with them? Maybe they feel like u just left and they weren't good enough for u anymore. Nobody can tell you why they're mad at u, but them. If you value their friendships then you should be up front with them. Go talk to them and ask them what happened and why they're so upset with u. Avoiding the situation won't help it go away.

Jealousy rears it's ugly head in many situations, don't take it to serious and move on, you are living, growing and moving on, sometimes, just sometimes, you have to leave people by the wayside, but the good thing about that is you will also get to meet new people also, live on.

I don't know, but I would ask them. It's odd for them to just change their opinion of you like that.
If you don't ask them, you'll never know, so it's worth a try. If they don't give you an answer, then I would just forget about it.
They were never your friends to begin with if they can't even give you a logical reason as to why they're acting this way.

They probably don't hate you I'm sure. They just may be upset that you moved. Just give them time to adjust to the change.

If they're mad at you for moving away then thats they're problem.
My definiton of a friend is someone who looks out for you because you look out for them. If your "friends" are mad at you for something you have no control over then I dont think they were really your friends to begin with. Just forget about them, its their problem, not yours.
