The Dunk Contest by far.
I think so many big players don't want to take part in the Dunk Contest, not because of "injury", but because they don't want to embarass themselves by not making any dunks or performing boring dunks.
And since this event doesn't have huge names like Kobe or LeBron in it, it gives guys that don't usually make All-Stars team or appear on SportsCenter to have time in the spotlight.
And watching this Skills Competiton, everyone is taking it so sssssssssssslllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww.......

I think it was a retarded idea on the behalf of David Stern to allow the best and most elite players in the Skills Challenge but not Dunk Contest. The Dunk Contest proves who the best dunker is while the skills challenge doesn't prove anything except for you won the skills challenge.
