Halite (sodium chloride) is table salt. It is a spice (sort of), assists in cooking, and can raise blood pressure in those susceptible to hypertension.

Graphite (carbon), in pencils, golf clubs, and wiring in hot environments

Asbestos (one of several fibrous silicate minerals), is a good heat insulator although it has gotten a somewhat bad rap in recent years

Mica (one of several silicate minerals), is used in 'windows' in old-time fuses and in some gas stoves, because it won't burn and is transparent in thin sheets.

Quartz (Silicon Dioxide, and one of the most common minerals) is used in computer applications and many electronic watches. It is also used in construction as quartzite (a rock).

Calcite (Calcium Carbonate) is used to create the cementing agent for concrete, and is the main mineral in the rock Marble, which is used in construction.

Dolomite (Calcium Magnesium Carbonate) is used for construction in the form of dolomitic marble.

Gold, is used in electronic circuitry and jewelry. Elemental gold is also a mineral.

Iron - In food.
Calcium - In food like milk and dairy.
Lead - Used has the writing part of the pencil.
Magnesium - Nutrient in food.
Mercury - Used in fluorescent light bulbs.

Water, I wash in it, I drink it, I cook in it and because it is winter I shovel it out of the driveway.
Iron. It is in my blood, I cook on it (frypan for eggs), It is part of my house, I wear it in the toes of my work boots, my car is made of it and so is the shovel I dig my car out of the snow with.
Copper wires carry electricity.oil fuels my car and heats my house.
Some of the buildings here are of limestone and some are marble
My whiskey glass is glass, basically fused quartze.
My coffee cup is ceramic, basically fused clay.
