These are the types of mucous you will see during your menstrual cycle.
Dry: At the beginning of your cycle, prior to ovulation you will likely produce little to no cervical mucous. Also right before your period should start your cervical mucous may become dry again. If you do not notice cervical mucous you will want to record this on your chart as dry.
Sticky: You may notice sticky cervical mucous prior to ovulation. It feels sticky to your fingers when you touch it
Creamy: As you get closer to ovulation you will notice thicker, creamy-looking cervical mucous. This mucous looks and feels similar to lotion.
Eggwhite: Eggwhite cervical mucous is the term used to describe the mucous you have during ovulation. It looks like eggwhites and is slippery, clear, and stretchy.
Watery: Watery cervical mucous is wet and may be stretchy. You may notice this type of cervical mucous during ovulation or before having eggwhite cervical mucous.

I have had this problem. I do not have the mucus every month. However although I did not I ended up pregnant in December. Not to sound mean but it did end in a MC...due to bacterial complications.
I think that you should go to see your doctor and get a check up, paps to make sure everything is fine in there. I believe that bacterial plays a role with our cervical mucus because after clearing up my infection I have had the mucus the last two months.
Matter of fact there right now.. and I have the Egg whites going on! yahoo...so just be sure all is good down there and then things should turn around for you...best of luck ----baby dust----

I have a similar problem, yes. the problem is the man's semen can be very similar to watery, or eggwhite CM... so it's hard to tell what is true mucus and what isn't. what I have found over the course of my research is that you should make it as Eggwhite one your chart, and contine to have intercourse, so that you don't miss a potentially fertile day.

Hope this helps!
