Yes. It was after my 11th birthday party. As I was following my friends to my house, I reached a crossroads, and a car was heading for me! My bike's brakes had been severed, so I couldn't stop. So I sped up. As I crossed the road, the car nicked the back of my wheel. I spun out of control and hit my head on the road. I had a concussion from the experience, but after a few weeks in the hospital, I was better. (I was grounded from my bike for a month)

I'm not sure if this counts, but I THOUGHT I was gonna die. I drive a semi, and I was coming down a very long, steep hill with a sharp corner at the bottom when I discovered my brakes weren't working properly. I was carrying an overweight excavator, with a permit. It was the most scared I've ever been, and I seriously thought about jumping from the truck but knew that would be just as bad. I hit the corner doing about 115 km/h, when under normal circumstances I would never hit it at more than about 70 km/h. I somehow managed to get around the corner with out crashing, but I stopped at the bottom and I think I chain smoked about 5 smokes, and I was shaking so much. Scared the crap out of myself!!!

Yes. Around 1975. I did Newfoundland Liberty Bells, a kind of magic mushroom. I left my body, entered and accelerated through a long long tunnel of flashing lights, popped out into a huge dark room, where met an incredible white light that showed me the bad feelings of all my life and washed them away, and then popped me back into my body. I felt very cold for a couple hours afterward, but once that feeling was over, I was left with an enormous feeling of peace for about a month afterward. Enormously fascinating, and enormously frightening. I DON'T recommend it.

Yes.It was totally awesome and one reason why I KNOW the soul, essence, energy, whatever you wanna call it survives outside of the body.I've been trying to recreate the experience by studying astral travel but I haven't ever been able to recreate this experience. Of course I was about to DIE and haven't been close to death since and that's been many, many years ago before anyone ever acknowledge these things happen.

Yes, once I went to the pool with some friends. We were having fun and fooling around. Then my friend duned me under water. I was like o its all fun. then i was losing my breath and i could no longer breath. i was hitting his hand and trying to come up for air but he wouldnt stop. Ithought I was gonna die. Finally he let me up and I was crying. My other firends helped me out of the pool. The lifegaurd almost had to do CPR on me but I caught my breath after a minute or two. But it was really scary. It was liek the first time I hung uot with taht guy and it was the last.

YES! I was in a car accident. If the car had hit me a foot closer to my door I would have been crushed. Thank God it was a small car. My car was totaled.
