You would think that our government could learn from its history. After outlawing liquor which did not stop the making and drinking of, it was eventually legalized and taxed. Why the government will not do the same with marijuana, no one knows, perhaps the governments' version of welfare benefits for the growers, smugglers, and peddlers. Tax revenues that could be use for George W. Bush' war in Iraq.

I think that marijuana should be legalized and than taxed. Then the money gained from taxing weed should be used to track down and arrest the people who are selling crack, heroin, cocaine etc to our kids.

Yes I do think it should be legal. So that there's room in the jails and prisons for the truely haneous criminals. I'm sick of paying taxes to have these people jailed and/or imprisoned for fouling their own lungs. it's ridiculous at best, wasteful judgemental and discrimination at worst

This is America - stop trying to elicit responses that support your position.
If you believe strongly enough that legalizing marijuana is the way to go, get yourself a bunch of petitions and start gathering signatures in favor of it. When you have enough signatures, submit it for a referendum vote.
Good luck.

eventually, yes it will. Its the liquor industry keeping it illegal by lobbying the government.
The liquor industry is a greater cause of health and social downfall.
