I'd just forget about it.

Ace Librarian's answer is very good.

I actually do have a piece of my life that is missing due to a trauma induced amnesia. I had a car accident (back before the days of required seat belt use) and I was thrown from the car. I hit my head on the pavement and fractured my skull. When I woke up days later in the hospital, I had no memory of events leading up to the accident or the accident itself. I don't remember the four days after waking up when I (supposedly) had people singing nursery songs to me. And then my memory begins again.. although it is spotty and came back almost as if I were waking up from a LARGE dose of Versed.

I can tell you what I have done. I have almost dismissed the entire incident... except for one thing. During the series of events, at some point, I lost the ring that my grandmother had given me. Since it had been her wedding ring, it was very important to me. At times I try very hard to recall where I may have been before the accident to see if I might have left it somewhere. (Like now, actually, while I am thinking about this topic.) I find it very frustrating that I have no recollection of the whole event.

Aside from that, I doubt there is anything that I could do to bring my memory back. My accident happened in 1978, and I have never remembered anything except for, possibly, a bright light and the slow motion roll of the car. Even that might be imagined.

Probably Ace Librarian is right. It's probably just as well to forget about it.

I don't know I can't remember. Seriously I would want to be exposed to my past go to places that are familiar, see pictures, talk to friends and family and pray for a return of memories
