Whats the best settings to secure homehub from external unwanted users?

I keep getting other users trying to connect to my homehub, i have it set up using recommended settings but when i change them to higher level settings the connection then fails.
What settings should I use to stop these attempts to connect to my hub?

Try setting the authorized connection list to only allow your MAC addresses, and reject all others. A mac address is unique to each network card.

This is only one more method. See if your router has a wizard to help you through other settings.

Oh, and turn off SSID broadcast.
