light come on but don.t work.

I assume that when you said "3 1/2", you're talkin about your Floppy Drive.

Your floppy drive doesn't need a driver to run, it just need to be setup on your BIOS. Try this:

1. Check both the Power Supply Cable and the Floppy Drive Cable if they are connected, Or try reseating the cables again.
2. turn on your PC and go to BIOS Setup, from there check if BIOS chose a 3.5 inch floppy drive. if not you choose 3.5 inch floppy drive

Microsoft has generic drivers for a floppy drive, which is all you need. The drive might be recieving power, but the motor that spins the tape media might not be working. A 3 1/2 drive is a very cheap replacement.

no idea what you are talking about.
hard drive?
disk drive?

go in bios,
make sure its there and enable
then in windows it should be detected automatically

so i believe its not detected ok,,, if you have boot floppy try it it should work
