I think some men just think they want multiple partners but define that a little further pls.Are you using the term "multiple "as many sex partners over a period of time OR at the same time? Generally common knowledge that MEN like to fantasize about making out with 2 women same time but when it comes down to it, I think most are quite fearful of it and would not follow thru if given that opportunity. Then again, there are those who are "all talk no action" and cant even handle one woman at a time never mind 2! Bottom line is eventually everyone male or female tends to settle down with one mate at least for a while. They may move on later but for the time being MOST are monogamous while in that relationship.

Men do have multiple sex partners especially in a locality where there are fewer males than females. On the other hand some men.s sexual urge is uncontrollable when the one they love is not around, they quickly get some else to play the game with to quench the zeal.

Men see it as a mark of virility if they can make a "conquest" of more than one woman during a certain time-frame. It is true that men also enjoy variety and want to experience a number of different sex partners. Men who are more promiscuous before getting married often have more stable marriages, and are less inclined to cheat on their wives.

I don't think most men always want a third partner. I think that he may want to satifsfy some sexual fantasy. Atleast that is how I feel. It's hard for me to keep up with one woman in bed already.

At one time or in a row? Been to both, but I really prefer my one partner because I know what she likes and she knows what I like. No guessing.

I don't think that is true for most men but, those who do I guess it's because they like variety.

Once they have enough, they will be more settled, but before that, men just want more and more and more.
