Since you have an uneven skin tone you will want a foundation. This will help to even out your skin tone. A foundation powder will do the same and combines 2 products in one. Since you don't currently wear make up this would be a good option for you. Also a mascara and a lip gloss. This will give you a natural appearance, but enhance your features and get you used to the idea of makeup. Then you can move on to blush, eyeliner, lipstick and so on. Just go to a store look at all they have to offer, and choose what you like. There are many options to choose from. Maybelline, cover girl, revlon, jane, NYC, and so on. The all vary in price.

ok, since you already have a nice skin color i wouldnt recomend doing anything to it, and not wearing foundation but cleaning your face before the important events. just use things that will highlight your features (DONT over do it, its better to under do makeup)
use a blush on the apples of your chicks, perhaps something to get rid of dark circles and a moisturizer for a dewy glow
and alittle bit of maskara.
you can get all those for cheap at any local drug store (some products are ridiculously expensive but you dont need desiner brands) good luck

try physicians formula for foundation or powder they are really good at fixing complexion problems for the rest of the stuff i would go with cheap things like "wet n wild" or "rimmel" you dont have to spend a fortune on eyeliner and lipstick or eyeshadow but i would invest in a good mascara cause it is your best bet to play up eyes my fave is loreal voluminous carbon black it lengthens and thickens a whole lot more than other drug store brands and costs the same if you really want to go cheap though just go to a dept store and get a makeover at their makeup counters they are free and if you feel guilty at taking the free makeover buy the cheapest thing they have at the counter

Well, there's tons of makeup you can get at drugstores. I suggest starting simple. Try a black or brown eyeliner, lipgloss and a little pink blush. For major events, start using brown eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara.
Practice using makeup often so that you will develop experience. But, remember to remove it properly
Best of luck

So first, you prefer to scrub your face and probably use a primer. 2d use a beginning place that's maximum equipped on your epidermis. third, use somewhat concealer under your eyes and on your nostril. Fourth, use a bronzer yet take it uncomplicated around the sides of your brow and cheekbones. 5th, use a mild color blush. TIP: verify which you do combination it incredibly is all actual sturdy. For the eyes, use nude hues or mild peachy or brown hues. For eyeliner positioned somewhat black on your bigger waterline. Use a mascara that may not clump so quite or make you look as in case you have doll eyelashes. After your beginning place has dried, use a translucent powder to set it in place. it is going to help it stick there. For brows, in case you have skinny brows, you are able to gently color them in yet no longer too severe. 2- bypass on YouTube and spot tutorials for organic look

i have black hair and brown eyes too, but my skin is a few shades lighter than america ferrera's. i use either dark gray or medium brown eyeliner (smoky look for the first one and natural for the second--any brand is fine), black thickening/lengthening mascara (almay is awesome, maybelline is good+cheap) for eyes. sweep a little bronzer shade darker than ur skin underneath cheekbones, then blend in a little blush (not bright red!) higher up on the cheek. voila, very pretty!
