This is my second Dell and I thought it would be as good as the first one was. Windows Vista is horrible! I can't even use AutoCad on it! The computer seems slower and more bogged down, and it's brand new! Does anyone know how I can return the computer, and if it is a tough process?

Don't waste anymore time call them tell them you demand money back if they don't then get a custom built pc and you will wonder why you every messed with brand name pc in the first place and finally have a pc that works likes it is suppose too

you are many of those lost to vista. (nearly happend to me)
1st, wait 1 year untill vista works, then give it a try.
2nd, yes you can, though it depends on the store.
for example, circuit city alows you a 14 day return period, but it has to be unopend. then there is a thirty day, but if opend with a restocking fee (15%)

I would guess your running only a gig of ram. vista to fun like it should needs atleast 2 gig to run good. its like with XP it can run on 512 but its slow. you need a gig to make it run good.

but beings we dont know what the build of your computer is. we cant answer why its slow. but that would be my first guess is not enough memory.

sure.. if your computer is within 21 days of purchase please call 1800-624-9897 and with the extension 7266966 you would reach customer care dept so that you can return the computer
