You are an accessory to the crime. If you can prove you did not go into the building, and just stayed outside, you should get a lighter sentence, also depending on how old you are. Since this is your first one, and depending on the judge, you may get off light. Tell me, was it worth the two or three hundred dollars? This is going to be on your record for the rest of your life, and it's going to hurt you in finding a job. If you walk the straight and narrow, you can make it back up, but it's going to be a hard road.

You are is so much trouble!

DON'T SAY A WORD TO INVESTIGATORS WITHOUT YOUR LAWER PRESENT!!! I can not overemphasize that enough. You need a LAWYER!

Chances are good that they made false charges against you. The most they can likely prove yoru guilt of in a court of law is being an accessory to crime.

DON'T SAY A WORD TO THE DETECTIVES WITHOUT YOUR LAWYER PRESENT!

After so many years after you are proven guilty of a felany you can get your record cleared. BUT an arrest will ALWAYS be on your record for the rest of your life. Employers are not allowed to ask about arrests, only convictions. Depending on what state you live in.

Tell us what State you are in so we can further help you.

Tell your lawyer you will plead guilty to any misdemeneanor, even if it means some jail time, to avoid the felony.
Felonys suck, they will ruin you.
For instance, you lose the right to vote.
And if a future employer does a background check, they might not see/ not care about a misdemeanor, but if you have a felony, that's bad.

Plea bargain to a lesser charge and then take your medicine like a big girl! Even if you don't do time that felony on your record will haunt you for the rest of your life...(PS...dump the boyfriend)

Wow for a first timer you certainly did it big didn't you? You're definitely looking at jail time. The Burglary charge is what's probably going to hit you the hardest.

You will most likely do jail time. What were you thinking would happen when you committed the crime?

Felony means jail time. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
