I have been playing the piano since 1st grade, I am in 8th right now. I want to go to a private high school that specializes in music. I live in IL, but would be willing to go to a music boarding school in a state nearby. I am hoping to one day get accepted into Juliard. A music high school would help me a lot I think.
If anyone knows of a high school, or has attended a music high school please tell me about it. Thanks

This isn't a PRIVATE school, but Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville is one of the best in the country for music. It doesn't really specialize in music, but its music programs are AMAZING and it has been awarded the honor of being a certified Grammy Music School, which is a VERY rare honor. Also, Naperville is a very good and safe area that is rich w/ culture.
